The proposed project is located in Maricopa County within the Cities of Avondale, Phoenix, and Tolleson on Interstate 10 from Dysart Road to approximately 0.4 miles east of 27th Avenue. The project begins at Milepost 129.70 and extends east to Milepost 143.00 for an approximate length of 13 miles on I-10 WB/EB. The ADA improvement work is located on the I-10 crossroads from Dysart Road to 27th Avenue, a total of 11 crossroads. The work consists of curb ramp and sidewalk replacement, pedestrian signal retrofits, obstruction removal, pavement marking, and other related work. The pavement widening work is located between 35th Avenue and 43rd Avenue. The work includes roadway excavation and embankments, asphaltic concrete base mix, PCCP, asphaltic concrete pavement; retaining walls, drainage facilities; signing and pavement markings; lighting, FMS, traffic signals, loop detectors, and other related work.
