040 CN 157 F013101C 040-C-(225)T ASHFORK - FLAGSTAFF HIGHWAY (I-40) (Devil Dog - Williams)

The proposed project is located in Coconino County on I-40, approximately seven miles west of Williams. The project begins at milepost 156.5 and ends at milepost 161.4. The work on the westbound roadway consists of replacement of existing pavement with Portland cement concrete pavement (PCCP) and placement of PCCP over the existing asphaltic concrete (AC) surface of the roadway. The work on the eastbound roadway consists of removing the existing pavement and replacing it with PCCP. Both roadways will include placement of aggregate subbase and AC base beneath the PCCP. Additional work includes lining the existing pipe culverts, milling asphaltic concrete, repair of existing PCCP, pipe culvert extensions, replacing guardrail and guardrail end terminals, rehabilitating the bridge deck at the Devil Dog Wash overpass, signing, pavement markings, and other related work.
