The proposed project is located in Coconino County on I - 40. The work begins at MP 162.39 (WB) and MP 162.40 (EB) and extends to MP 179.00. The work consists of milling and removal of existing pavement, intelligent compaction, cement treatment of sub base, replacement of pavement with Asphaltic Concrete End Product and Asphaltic Concrete Friction Course, removing and replacing guardrail, applying pavement markings, traffic control and other related work. Between MP 165.08 and 165.16, the proposed project also includes removal and disposal of damaged bridge concrete, deck repairs, furnishing and placing primer and patch materials, placing bridge join seal, erosion repair, and other related work.
