Construct Traffic Interchange

The proposed work is located in the Town of Gilbert in Maricopa County on SR 202L, starting at MP 39.71 and extending east to MP 46.55. The work consists of adding a new traffic interchange at Lindsay Road and a west bound frontage road between Gilbert Road and Lindsay Road, and the widening of the Gilbert WB off ramp and the Val Vista Drive EB off Ramp. The work consists of constructing a new diamond traffic interchange at Lindsay Road including the provisions for a future 4th general purpose lane that will be constructed in the future under a separate project. Approximately 0.47 miles of existing Lindsay Road will be fully reconstructed. The work includes grading & drainage, construction of portland cement concrete pavement, asphaltic rubber-asphaltic concrete friction course, concrete curb & gutter, sound walls, pavement marking, signing, lighting, landscape and irrigation, freeway management system, and other related work.
