The proposed project is located within the jurisdiction of the City of Casa Grande in Pinal County. The work consists of constructing an additional northbound thru lane on Thornton Road from SR-84 to Peters Road, reconstructing the southern portion of the road and installing new curb and gutter along with raised medians, widening the north portion of the road, installing new lighting along the southern portion of the road, minor drainage improvements, signing, pavement marking and other related works.
