The proposed project is located in Pinal County on Southern Avenue from Weekes Wash (west of Mariposa Road) to Tomahawk Road, and on Tomahawk Road from Southern Avenue to US 60, in the City of Apache Junction. The work consists of widening the existing roadway by constructing new asphalt concrete pavement. Additional work includes constructing curb and gutter and sidewalk, reconstructing curb ramp returns, and driveways, relocating property wall, constructing storm drain, relocating water facilities, installing street lighting, pavement marking, signing, seeding, and other miscellaneous work.
